Dateline Phoenix - June 27 2008

The Arizona Precision Motorcycle Drill Team is pleased to welcome RICK TOPE as our newest riding member. Rick breezed through the required riding maneuvers on Tuesday evening which came as no surprise since RICK has been riding with us for more than a year. Recently RICK has been riding our newest performance routine as a utility rider, and has demonstrated smooth, concise control of his Valkyre. RICK, currently a pilot, brings a fresh approach to the Team with his critiques and suggestions.

Congratulations and welcome to the Team, RICK - we are looking forward to riding with you, and we all feel that you are a valuable addition to the group!.

You might not believe it, but the Team once performed wearing Red Jumpsuits - with short sleeves no less.  Click the picture to take a look at a piece of history - the 1986 Wing Ding Drill Team Competition from Santa Clara, California.  There's even a demonstration of how not to pick up a wing after you fall while doing a flair maneuver.
